About Dr. Malik
Dr. Malik received his neurosurgical training at the University of Washington in Seattle and Temple University Hospital in Philadelphia. After completing his training, he came to Texas and served as an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at the University of Texas in Houston. He practiced there for over six years prior to entering private practice.
At the university, his practice and research focused on complex traumatic, degenerative, and neoplastic conditions of the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine.
In conjunction with TIRR Hospital, he led a team of doctors and physical therapists in the treatment of various forms of spinal cord injury and head injury.
