About Dr. Williams

Dr. Jason Williams is a board-certified anesthesiologist and board-certified pain management physician. He attended Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center in Lubbock for medical school, residency, and fellowship, and has practiced pain management and anesthesia for more than 15 years in the Dallas–Fort Worth area. His training focuses heavily on interventional pain management, including advanced surgical procedures for spine-generated pain.

Dr. Williams helped pioneer a laser spine surgery procedure in the DFW area and has successfully treated thousands of patients from all over the world for cervical, thoracic, and lumbar pain using this advanced technology. The laser procedure sets him apart as one of the most minimally invasive options available for performing discectomies of the spine, and in some cases is the only option for patients who have already undergone multiple procedures or surgeries. Recovery time is minimal, and many patients are back at work within a few days.

He has also served as medical director for a DFW-area stem cell therapy company, helping pioneer stem cell, PRP, and exosome therapies to treat pain with the most cutting-edge and advanced techniques in regenerative medicine.

Throughout his career, Dr. Williams has served as chief of surgery, medical director, and on multiple medical executive committees at hospitals and surgery centers throughout DFW — reflecting his dedication to high-quality patient care, the ongoing integration of specialized knowledge, and continued professional development. He is also an expert in personal injury care and has served as a consultant and expert witness for many law firms in the DFW area.

Outside of medicine, Dr. Williams is a formally trained professional brewer, having studied at the Siebel Institute of Brewing in Chicago and the Doemens World Brewing Academy in Munich, Germany. He also enjoys scuba diving, skiing, traveling, and Mexican food.
